When checking your Valice email using IMAP or POP in Gmail as your mail client, users may run into delays receiving email due to Gmail’s “Throttling.”
To manually force a refresh and check for new mail:
- Login to Gmail and navigate to “Settings” (gear icon in upper right corner) > click “See all settings” >click the “Accounts” tab
- Where you see your Valice hosted domain email under “Check mail from other accounts” you’ll see the last time it checked mail
- Next to that you should see a link that says “Check mail now” and click that to retrieve any new emails
